To fix I went into the game's DefaultEngine.ini file, located here for me (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Alien Breed Impact\AlienBreedEp1Game\Config), right clicked, and opened up with notepad++ (a free software I use for coding). Like everyone else, I was having the problem of my launcher not starting after multiple PhysX, DirectX, and even Unreal Engine 3 to no avail.Īfter reading online and connecting the pieces, I found that Nvidia PhysX isn't very compatible with AMD cards (what I have). I'm not sure if anyone's interested anymore (especially because this is already marked as solved), but since this is the top post I could find on the googles, I'll post my fix here. If after going through all of the above, you still have a problem, try below.
